Frog
One sentence: what the piece is, and what you were responsible for. Nothing else.
- Role
- Modelling, lookdev
Final
The finished shot, at the top. Paste a Vimeo or YouTube link on its own line to embed it, or drop the final render here.
Brief & intent
The problem you set out to solve, and the constraints — deadline, brief, exercise, client note. Say what success was supposed to look like.
References
The moodboard and the photo reference you actually worked from. Credit anything that is not yours.
Breakdown
Plate against final comp, or clay against beauty. Drag the handle across to compare — two frames, or two clips playing in step.
Modeling
Wireframe and polycount. What was sculpted, what was modelled, how it was retopologised — and why the topology is the way it is.
Lookdev & texturing
Turntable, UV layout and texel density, map resolution, the shader graph. Show the material doing its job under more than one lighting condition.
Rendering
Renderer and settings, sampling, AOVs, colour space, render time per frame, what the farm was. Numbers are the point of this section.
Technical notes
One problem per entry, then what you did about it. This is the section studios read closest.
